You know I love Nairn and I love creating and I am looking for posters for walls in the house, so I thougth I would try and recreate some old school retro travel posters. I did look for some online first of all, to save me from creating but nothing really captured the beauty of Nairn.

Therefore in the style of 1950s or 1960s retro travel posters I found some photographs which I had taken and started to work with them on Photoshop until I created some pretty cool images.

Visit Nairn is of course the local website for tourism and we choose to purchase a house in Nairn because of it’s micro climate. We have named the Moray Coast the Sunshine Coast and especially Nairn, that’s why I have chosen this strapline.

My subjects include the Nairn Bandstand, Nairn Lighthouse, Nairn Beach and Sandown Common Good Field (the view from the windows of the Studio apartments at Altonsyde).
